As Asia Pacific's leading arts institution, LASALLE-SIA College of the Arts is the only integrated arts campus in the region. Founded in 1984 by De LaSalle brother, Brother Joseph McNally, it is a non-profit, private educational institution that operates with financial support from the Ministry of Education. LASALLE-SIA offers the widest range of quality programmes in design, fine arts, media arts, theatre, dance, music and arts management in Singapore with over 40 undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. Its Programmes are practice- based and offer students the opportunity for interdisciplinary interaction. To enhance the learning experience of its students, the institution often engages established international industry practitioners to share their experiences through talks, workshops and masterclasses. With an exciting move to its new state-of-the-art campus in the heart of the city 2007. LASALLE-SIA is set to play a significant role in establishing Singapore as a global art city.
