Founded in 1984 by De LaSalle brother, Brother Joseph McNally, it is a non-profit, private educational institution that operates with financial support from the Ministry of Education. LASALLE-SIA offers the widest range of quality programmes in design, fine arts, media arts, theatre, dance, music and arts management in Singapore with over 40 undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. Its Programmes are practice- based and offer students the opportunity for interdisciplinary interaction. To enhance the learning experience of its students, the institution often engages established international industry practitioners to share their experiences through talks, workshops and masterclasses.
