fig 3: Zi Peng First Solo Exhibition - Flowers of the MotherlandThe series "Flowers of the Motherland" show the beauty and growth of China, and the influence, dreams and blossom of the new generation. The boy depicted in the paintings is in fact the artist himself at adolescent painted in grayscale except for the red scarf and the background, in contrary, is painted in an absurd and flamboyant manner, not governed by rules of proportion or depth, and is of an overall reminiscent style.

This exhibition is organized by Lukisan Art Gallery in collaboration with Y2Arts.
