The Anoushka Shankar ProjectA young artist with stunning musical maturity, Anoushka Shankar’s pedigree is to die for. She is the beautiful, supremely talented daughter of legendary sitar maestro Ravi Shankar, is Norah Jones’ half sister and has already played with the likes of George Harrison, Sting, Herbie Hancock and Elton John.

Schooled in the Indian classical music tradition by her father, Anoushka's unique style of music cleverly fuses  classical Indian, electronic and world music, and while her name may have brought her to the stage for the first time as a young girl, it is her  talent and vision that have kept her there.

In this exclusive Southeast Asian stop on her tour, you will be treated to classical ragas as well as acoustic versions of her contemporary compositions from her Grammy-nominated album Rise and Breathing Under Water.

The Anoushka Shankar ProjectAnoushka Shankar allows the sitar’s star to shine on in the 21st century. Don’t miss this opportunity to witness a new major force in Indian classical music.
