Fig 3: MOE ExCEL Fest 2008 This year's MOE ExCEL (Excellence through Continuous Enterprise and Learning) Fest will be held on 5 July 2008 at Suntec International Convention and Exhibition Centre. The theme for the event is "Nurturing Every Child for the Future". The event will include seminar talks, classroom experience sessions and exhibitions showcasing ongoing innovative efforts in our school's journey to improve the quality of teaching and learning for the benefit of our young.

MOE ExCEL Fest 2008 will be held over 2 days with the following objectives:

a) To recognise school, team and individual efforts in nurturing a culture of learning, innovation and continuous improvement;

b) To serve as a platform for both HQ and school staff to learn and share innovations and best practices, particularly on leveraging on I&E in our work;

c) To showcase to the parents and general public the innovative practices that are taking place in schools and MOE HQ in the areas of teaching and learning.

Fig 4: MOE ExCEL Fest 2008 MOE ExCEL Fest 2008 will be a platform to showcase the vibrant, diverse and engaging experience that our schools provide to our students. To showcase our diversified educational landscape, besides our mainstream schools, Specialised Independent Schools (SIS), Special Education Schools (SPED), and Post Secondary Education Institution (PSEI) will also share their innovative programmes that help unleash the potential of different groups of students. A total of 70,000 participants, teachers and members of the public are expected to attend this vibrant event.
