The 3-days training course will cover modules that will take the military personnel into the next step of Knowledge Management with an emphasis on understanding the learning behaviors of the new generation of military officers, capturing tacit knowledge, inter-generational knowledge transfer framework and personal KM.
The challenge now is to ensure that all of the data amassed and processed in the future battlespace truly can become useful knowledge to all the military forces. The recognition to harness all the valuable information, explicit and tacit knowledge from within a typical military setting is more critical now than ever with the shifting communication paradigm and with the exodus of retiring officers. This programme is specially designed for Knowledge Management (KM) practitioners in the military & defence sector.
The work environment of the future Army leader is characterized by an increased diversity in the nature of missions, a greater requirement for rapid, widely dispersed deployment and a wider array of sophisticated technology—all of which made it an imperative to gain easy, immediate and on-demand access to that collective body of knowledge and experience garnered by the force over the years to make an informed, strategic military decision at any given time.
This course will include case studies presentation and active discussions that will engage all participants to discuss and debate on the best ways to optimize on their knowledge management programme.
