Finite element analysis is a methodology used in optimising new designs, verifying the fitness of existing facilities, predictive performance and evaluating new concepts. This versatile and powerful tool has become widely used and universally accepted in many industries.

In view of the rising significance of FEA in the engineering domain, this course aims to provide an overview of FEA, the different types of engineering analysis, various elements types, constraints methods, loading types, just to name a few.  Real life case studies will be discussed in the course to provide a more practical application of FEA theories and techniques in the real world situation.
