Every working day, millions of us wake up half asleep, look in the bathroom mirror and start the daily task of putting on a public face. This is Dream-Work.

Dream-Work and Dream-Home are two walking performances that take the form of journeys to and from a job in the city. Following performer-commuters during the a.m. and p.m. rush hours, audience members tune in to personal receivers broadcasting the sounds, the speech and the songs that make up a life in the morning; and then unmake it again, as night draws in.

An ambulant audio-performance: Dream-Work/Dream-Home is a two-part walking performance about who we are at work and play. Following performer-commuters during the a.m. and p.m. rush hours, audience members use headphones to listen in on the sounds, speech and songs that make up a life in the morning; and this cycle is repeated as the night closes in.

Dream-Work / Dream-Home is co-commissioned by the Singapore Arts Festival and the Inbetween Time Festival of Live Art and Intrigue (Arnolfini, Bristol, UK)

Performances start at 7.30am, 8.30am and 9.30am

Ticket Info: $20
