Or you could catch a plane to various destinations within Malaysia. There are frequent shuttle services to Kuala Lumpur which depart every hour from Changi Airport Terminal 2. As seats are allotted on a first-come first-served basis, the airfare for shuttle flights are cheaper than confirmed reservations. Tickets for shuttle flights can be bought at the airport.

Alternatively you could take the regular train services that ply between Singapore and key cities and towns on the western seaboard of Peninsular Malaysia. These include Johor Bahru, Kuala Lumpur to the West, Ipoh and Butterworth to the North.
